All in-person Branch meetings and activities — including the Women’s Monologues and Cocktails & Convos — have been suspended due to the Coronavirus. We will post here and on our Facebook page when activities resume. In the meantime, please stay connected with us…and JOIN US if you haven’t already. Thank you!

At this meeting, members will be given an update on Branch activities, discuss the current 2021-2022 Budget, get a report on the 2021 End-of-the-Line Bookstore season and discuss upcoming activities and initiatives. DEC. 15, 2021, approx. 6:00 PM Raffle Drawing for the Annie Simcoe “Suffragist on a Bicycle” Artwork
COVID really threw us some obstacles in 2020 when we first started selling tickets for the piece of art Annie Simcoe donated for a fund raiser. We had to get creative in selling raffle tickets when many of our in-person events were cancelled or limited with attendance. After selling tickets for a month online, we hope to do Annie proud with the amount of tickets we have sold in order to raise funds for AAUW-Garrett. Please purchase your raffle tickets before the drawing at https://givebutter.com/aauw-garrett.
JAN. 24, 2022, 5:30 PM ERA Update from Vote Equality featuring Liza Mickens
We are thrilled to be offering this opportunity to get an update on the Equal Rights Amendment push forward from Liza Mickens of Vote Equality. Join branch members and friends on this Zoom call to learn where we go from here with the ERA, talk about what we can do individually and as a branch to help, and discuss future branch initiatives on this topic. If you are interested in attending, please visit the AAUW-Garrett Facebook page for the registration link or contact us directly.
